Chuk Chat Privacy and Security

[edit]Your chat content is encrypted on your device before storage. Chuk Chat is designed to collect as little personal data as possible.
What is encrypted
[edit]- Chat messages and conversation history
- Chat titles and conversation metadata
What is not encrypted
[edit]- Email address
- Username/display name
These are needed for account login and communication.
Data practices
[edit]- No selling of user data
- No ad-tracking profile system
- Token usage metadata is stored for billing (not your message text)
Security basics
[edit]- AES-256-GCM encryption for chat data
- HTTPS/TLS for data in transit
- Certificate pinning on supported native platforms
- Account deletion available from settings
Provider-level privacy controls
